NEWS FLASH

Israel’s national carrier El Al is expanding its reach in Belgrade by commencing a codeshare partnership with TAROM on flights between Bucharest and the Serbian capital. Starting next month, El Al will place its designator code and flight numbers (LY9506/9507) onto the Romanian carrier’s five weekly Belgrade flights. El Al serves Bucharest ten times per week, while it leisure brand Sun d’Or maintains three weekly rotations to Belgrade.

Well they can go to Tel Aviv through ATH . 8 to 10 daily flights this time of the year . At least 14 to 16 daily in the summer season .

If the price is right and they want to travel with El-Al why wouldn't they.
Most of this market originates in Israel rather than BEG.

The first plane lined up is a 5 year old B787-9 so it's definitely not 30 years old.

What is the difference between ELAL and Sun d'Or? Both have LY prefix?
Is it matter when flight is operated by ELAL or Sun d'Or?🤔

ELAL does not operate flights on Shabbat, so they have a subsidiary company that handles flights during Shabbat.
