NEWS FLASH

Saudi Arabian low cost carrier Flyadeal will commence flights between Buraidah, the capital of Al-Qassim province, and Sarajevo this summer. Services are due to commence on June 16 and operate once per week until August 16. Tickets are expected to go on sale shortly. The airport catering Buraidah, often referred to as Gassim or Qassim, primarily serves the northern provinces of the kingdom. Both Flyadeal and Flynas maintain operations to Sarajevo from Riyadh and Jeddah. The latter will also run services between Medina and Sarajevo for a ten-day period in June for the Hajj pilgrimage, with tickets available for purchase online. Previously, Flynas and the now-defunct FlyBosnia maintained operations between Buraidah (Gassim) and Sarajevo.

Sarajevo has a lot of very niche routes that seem to work wonderfully for them

SJJ is Buraidah's first destination in Europe, so this is definitely a massive achievement
