NEWS FLASH

SAS Scandinavian Airlines is upgrading its seasonal summer flights between Copenhagen and Sarajevo to year-round operations. The airline had initially scheduled its last flight of the season to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital on October 22. During the upcoming 2025/26 winter season, which begins in late October, SAS will run two weekly flights between the two capitals, on Tuesdays and Sundays. The Tuesday rotation is scheduled to be operated by the 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft, while the Saturday one with the 122-seat Embraer E195 jet. SAS began operations to Sarajevo last year, with services running between June 19 and August 21.

A previous article did mention that LJU is seeking Stockholm flights. If I had to guess, they'll co-operate with Eurowings on the route, though, as SAS recently swapped over to SkyTeam

What do you mean if they run it? Tickets are on sale.

With no flights from either TZL og BNX to Copenhagen/Malmo, there should be enough demand during the winter from the entire region to cover a couple flights a week.
