Air Montenegro’s CEO, Vukadin Stojanović, has said the carrier’s third Embraer E195 aircraft should arrive this Friday June 20. "The aircraft is currently at a maintenance facility in Poland certified by Embraer for this type of work. It has been there for nearly twenty days, with the maintenance process now nearing completion. According to the latest information from the workshop, the aircraft is in excellent condition, and we expect the Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) to be issued on June 19, confirming that all required work has been completed and that the aircraft will be able to fly to Montenegro the following day", Mr Stojanović said. The lease of the aircraft has
caused controversy in the country. The CEO noted, “Between December of last year and March this year, we reviewed eleven aircraft. There is a significant shortage of this type of aircraft on the market, and many of those available were located in China, Vietnam, and Brazil. This posed a challenge, as they lacked certain equipment required to meet EU standards. The selection process was conducted thoroughly, and our technical team ultimately concluded, based on the documentation, that this particular aircraft was fully compliant”.
Look, i fully belive that the documentation was missing, but i think the lessor should be, and probably did, cover the cost of replacing the undocumented parts with new ones, thus making the plane safe to fly. Hard to belive any approval would be issued with the documentation missing

DeleteThat openly said they didn't take the plane because of untrecable origin of parts. Air Montenegro is aware of that and playing dumb by saying plane is in great condition. Nobody questioned the condition of the plane. The fact that you don't know where the aircraft parts came from is another thing.

ReplyDeleteNo, 4O doesn't have a livery at all, it's just a wrap that takes a day or so to apply. I think Slovenian Skubin did it for the first 2 frames
