NEWS FLASH
Emirates is set to host a pilot recruitment roadshow in Belgrade, on December 10 (two sessions) and December 11. As part of a broader regional campaign running from December 8 to 13, with stops also in Athens and Budapest, the sessions will introduce career pathways including Direct‑Entry Captain, Accelerated Command and First Officer roles. Attendees will have the chance to meet Emirates’ pilot recruitment team, gain insights into the application and selection process, explore simulator assessment expectations, learn about the airline’s fleet, Dubai‑based training programs, lifestyle benefits and progression opportunities. Pilots from neighbouring countries are also welcome to attend. Those planning to take part in the Belgrade roadshow must register beforehand here.
Any chance Emirates could announce Dreamliner service to Belgrade at the same event?

DeleteWhy not? Today Etihad announced OTP starting from spring 2026.
DeleteThis is a pilot roadshow, not a route launch event.
DeleteKeep on dreaming but stay realistic hahahahah.
DeleteDid Emirates elaborate where they could deploy dreamliners once they arrive?
DeleteWe can say lot of things for BEG buy its the only one in ex yu that can truly generate demand fot mosy of markets. If they were in EU, like us, BEG would even be more connected..
DeleteSpell check is your friend.
DeleteRoadshows like this from Gulf and Arabian peninsula airlines are the reason JU and other companies in the region have difficulty retaining their pilots.
ReplyDeletePay your pilots more then.
DeleteSure. Let us quickly drill a few oil wells and get some spare pocket money to reward our pilots handsomely.
DeleteDo they bring plane to show off with them, or only people?
ReplyDeleteWhat they would bring a plane for when they are holding interviews in a hotel?
DeleteBla bla bla...they better focus more on people and train them properly rather than sacking them for minor things that can be rectified easily. Once training department gets rid of “god given” complex they won’t have to organize this bs show.
