Air Montenegro added its third Embraer E195 aircraft (pictured) into revenue service last Friday after the Montenegrin Civil Aviation Agency issued an airworthiness certificate for the jet. It follows controversies surrounding the aircraft. “The Agency’s team made its decision professionally, independently, and in accordance with regulations, guided by the fundamental principle that safety is the absolute priority. The decision followed a comprehensive physical inspection of the aircraft, a thorough review of all documentation and compliance evidence, as well as corrective actions taken by the airline to address identified discrepancies during the inspection process”. The agency said in a statement. The aircraft’s first revenue flight was between Podgorica and Rome; however, it was delayed at Fiumicino Airport for close to five hours for the return journey.
5 hour delay on first flight because of technical issue is a good sign of how good the plane is.

DeleteYou can always speculate here. Trying to create the bias of the unsafe aircraft. Or you can be proud that one small company got another unit which is a big thing for them and the whole country. Aircraft is good and it will serve well. And respect for the AM team who invested their efforts, knowledge and time to make it airworthy and flying.
