NEWS FLASH

Sarajevo Airport registered its busiest day on record this past Saturday, July 12, handling 11.144 passengers and eighty flight operations over a 24-hour period. The figure surpasses the previous single-day record of 10.404 passengers set last year. In a statement, the airport said, “Thank you to all the employees, teams, and support services who, despite the large crowds and high temperatures, once again gave their best to ensure every flight operated safely and efficiently”. Earlier this month, Sarajevo Airport also welcomed its one-millionth passenger of the year, nearly a month ahead of last year’s milestone.
