NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia will add an extra weekly service between Belgrade and Guangzhou on a one-off basis later this month. With the first anniversary of the service approaching, the carrier will operate three flights during the week of September 22 - 28, rather than the usual two weekly rotations. The extra flight will run on Tuesday, September 22, complementing the Monday and Friday departure. It comes ahead of increased demand for flights to and from China during the country’s National Day Golden Week, during which people enjoy an eight-day public holiday from October 1 - 8. Strong demand for outbound international flights from mainland China begins during the week of September 22.

PEK is not gonna happen because they don't have enough crew.

It needs time to be implemented.
A big preliminary work from the commercial team before the tickets are put on sale.
Only a few months later the flights start to be operated.
It's not just we got a traffic right or a great idea and the next morning let's fly....

@ 11:20. What an ignorance... Every A32x type rating pilot with one extra week of training may transfer to A33x. And every captain wants to do that because wide bodies rise salaries a lot.

Yeah and who will fly all those A32x when pilots switch to A330? You are delusional. JU can't allow for too many to make the switch because it will disrupt the rest of their network.

Here they were able to at such a short notice, which means they have a permit for third weekly at any given time?

You do realize that here they added just ONE extra flight the whole winter season! They didn't add an additional weekly departure.
