ReplyDeleteClosing in on the 5 million mark :)
ReplyDeleteI passed through ZG yesterday. Its a nice airport indeed!
ReplyDeleteAbout equal with PRN up to August. Very small difference.
ReplyDeletePrishtina hade över 500 k same month.
DeleteCroatia Airlines being the largest carrier of the month!! Nice! Bravo Croatia!
ReplyDeleteOn the contrary, Croatia Airlines is largest by seat capacity but not by passenger numbers. Which is absolutely not "nice".
DeleteSome 15k more pax for Ryan this August at Zagreb
DeleteHahahahahahahaha 11.06. Touche! 😂
DeleteWell, numbers seem to be great, however big chunk of these people are low spending tourists. On the other side LJU’s figures are lower but more premium/boutique. Different models. Congrats to Fraport to have its model regardless of the regional development.
ReplyDeleteNo comment on premium /boutique except : LOL LOL LOL 😂😂😂😂😂😂
DeleteHahaha I was many times in Ljubljana and didn't notice more premium tourists compared to Zagreb.
DeleteOf course it is premium airport since LCCs don't fit into Fraports business model :)

DeleteWatch this interview with Krasnja and compare his statements in the interview for Finance in march 2025. The guy finally understands that it’s (airport) operator’s business to bring new airlines. Who would have thought … https://youtu.be/2AJHI4vXHn0?si=xAxeo1tArPtAchnP
DeleteDear Admin, in the article you said the September growth is currently at 14.6%, which is more then 13.7% published recently https://www.exyuaviation.com/2025/08/all-ex-yu-capital-airports-set-for.html
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean that capacity has increased and who is contributing to this increase?
Yes, capacity levels change on an almost daily basis as airlines change aircraft types.
DeleteIs it true that Ryanair is discontinuing some routes from ZAG in winter? Sofia is no longer in the system.
ReplyDeleteIt is not true. Routes that are concluding at the end of summer have all been operating on a seasonal basis for some time. Ryanair has more capacity out of Zagreb this winter when compared to the previous one.
DeleteIt's just journalist that have no idea what "seasonal route" means.
DeleteI really thought OU would have reached 500,000 in both July and August so I think the numbers are somewhat disappointing. OU needs to do a lot more. Seems everyone expect those who work at OU know this.
ReplyDelete*Edit Zagreb, not OU in first line
