NEWS FLASH
Aegean Airlines will increase operations between Athens and Ljubljana next summer season with an additional weekly rotation. The carrier plans to introduce a third weekly flight between the two capitals from June 7, with the Sunday rotation complementing the Tuesday and Friday departures. All services will be operated by the Airbus A320 aircraft.
Great news, congratulations Ljubljana. Next year Kos or Thessaloniki would also be welcomed
ReplyDeletethey must be performing great for increasing to 3 weekly!
ReplyDeleteSeemingly last flight for Eurowings tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteEven though not officially, we have sadly expected for a while that the route will not be extended into 2026. Their loads were really bad. They would see way more success if they started with LJU-BER imo.
DeleteIt was odd decision either way to go for DUS instead of Berlin, when Berlin had 85% loads when EasyJet was operating the route
DeleteGuys EW is generally useless so no wonder they are ending flights this early. They won't be missed. They were Fraport's obsession with LH Group
DeleteFraport Derangement Syndrome sufferer is up early today!
DeleteAmazing news!
ReplyDeleteAlso Vueling is increasing ... both capacity and frequency ...
ReplyDeleteIt has been posted.
DeleteFrequency? When?
DeleteWhat frequency increase? It has been 3 weekly in December since they put tickets on sale.
DeleteVueling sadly mostly reverted its capacity increase. As of now, only one flight will be operated by an A321 and some of the flights have even been downgraded to A319. But I am still confident that the route will prove to be a success.

Hard to belive they downgraded the flights to a319 when the prices were at 100€ one way already a few weeks ago
DeleteOfcourse it's hard to believe if someone is making up things.
Delete@15.20, you can check it yourself. A319 is now scheduled on 20th of Nov and 11th of Dec. Also A321 flights on 21st of Dec and 4th of Jan have been reverted back to A320.
Delete2 flights in two months is not "some of the flights". You are making it like every third flight is now a A319.
DeleteSorry, I guess I chose the wrong words then, didn’t mean to trigger you :D. I just wanted to point out that the capacity increase was mainly reduced but as I said, I still think the route is gonna be a great success. As a Slovene, I am rooting for it very much
DeleteBoth 20.11 and 11.12 shows A320 for me
DeleteWhat are you looking at? It's A319 for both of the dates. Try to book the flight and you will see.
DeleteBot flights in Amadeus are A320.
DeleteI hope KLM boosts the service too...the flights are too expensive, and I miss morning departure
ReplyDeleteBravo Fraport!
ReplyDeleteGreat news — Aegean has one of the best short-haul products in Europe.
ReplyDeleteindeed. hope in some years they will reach 6 or even daily flights to LJU. They already flying daily to DBV every summer!
DeleteEveryone wants to visit beautiful Dalmatia!
DeleteWait until they discover beautiful Slovenia ;)
DeleteI'm started to getting sick of these constant Aegean announcments about Ljubljana...
ReplyDeleteEvery two weeks they have some annoucment then the cancellation of that announcement.
DeleteSimilar to Pegasus in Zagreb.
