NEWS FLASH
Aegean Airlines will introduce seasonal summer flights between Thessaloniki and Dubrovnik during the 2026 summer season. The carrier had initially planned to launch the route back in July 2020, however, was forced to cancel those plans due to the coronavirus pandemic. This time around, Aegean will commence flights on June 1, running twice per week, on Mondays and Saturdays, with the ATR72-600 aircraft, operated by its regional brand Olympic Air. Services will be maintained until September 28. Further flight details can be found
here. The service will complement Aegean’s existing seasonal Athens - Dubrovnik operations, which will be maintained up to seven times per week next summer.
This is great for us who live in southern Macedonia and want to go to Dubrovnik, usually by car to reach Dubrovnik you need to drive for good 10 hours and with this you will reach Dubrovnik in an hour
ReplyDeleteJust wondering, how long does it take to drive from, say, Bitola to Thessaloniki Airport by car, counting in border checks
DeleteAbout three hours.
DeleteI live in Gevgelija and my trip to Dubrovnik was very long and unpleasant, this is a very good option to have, since Thessaloniki airport is an hour ride from where we live.
DeleteHay anyone tried travelling to Dubrovnik through Albania? if yes, does it make sense?
Delete^ It is a three border crossings trip. No way!
Delete@10:08 I did once with friends, during the summer. Never again.
DeleteBravo
ReplyDeleteFinally some more Aegean to our region!
