NEWS FLASH
easyJet inaugurated flights between Manchester and Ljubljana today, complementing its existing services between London Gatwick and the Slovenian capital. The route will be maintained twice per week. Babett Stapel, head of airport operator Fraport Slovenija, said, “We are extremely pleased that easyJet has further strengthened our long-standing cooperation by introducing this new route, which enhances the low cost offer from our airport. Flights to Manchester will provide an important boost to connectivity with the UK market – both in terms of attracting tourists and in supporting business ties between our two countries". easyJet will further expand its operations from Ljubljana in 2026 by launching flights to Edinburgh on April 3.
These developments are part of the airline’s broader effort to rebuild its presence in Ljubljana and return to the market share it held prior to the pandemic in 2019. It is also boosting operations on its London Gatwick - Ljubljana service, offering four weekly flights in November and daily rotations in December, up from three and four weekly respectively during the same period last year. In 2019, easyJet handled a combined total of 220.174 passengers on its Ljubljana flights, with an average annual cabin load factor at a high 90%. Last year the figure stood at 80.534 travellers, with a load factor of 88.3%.

We need Berlin back and additional London airports. Geneva would also be superb
ReplyDeleteWhere the hell was Eurowings logic in operating Düsseldorf but not Berlin flights?!
DeleteDoes anyone know how the sales are performing so far?
ReplyDeleteApparently summer sales are very strong, not sure about spring and winter numbers
DeleteOnly winter timetable is currently on sale.
DeleteThere are no flights on sale for the summer yet...
DeleteThought you were talking about Edinburgh, my bad, in regards to MAN I haven't the slightest clue
DeleteWelcome!
ReplyDeletewe need more of this airline in ExYU
ReplyDeleteEasyJet is one of the biggest airlines in Ex-Yugoslavia. They have about 40 flights per day every day in the summer. That's two times more than Lufthansa!
Deletenot even 1/5 of Wizzair size

@15:31 well Wizzair have several bases in EXYU. Easyjet's presence during summer isn't that small is what the first reply meant, and I agree.

DeleteV poletnem voznem redu sicer pričakujemo več frekvenc letov, vendar se lahko dejanski vozni red do konca marca, ko bo stopil v veljavo, še spremeni. Priporočamo, da spremljate naše objave za najnovejše informacije. 🛫☺️
DeleteLooks like Maribor-Blackpool will never happen. What might have been...
ReplyDeleteSad times.
DeleteSeems JU ATR is again on a remote stand. I fly almost biweekly to BEG and we were on a remote stand only once a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised. Also, I talked with ground crew and they complained that Fraport let go all seasonal workers, and that they are heavily understaffed. He said that instead of 6 people handling ATR, there were only 3 of them.
ReplyDeleteYes, Fraport usually hires insane amount of summer workers, most of them students, and lets them go on Nov 1st... And then you get delays around any school vacations because they are understaffed
DeleteBravo Fraport!
Deleteit is normal for such planes to be on remote stands, but I find it stupid that they park a320 on air bridge gate and use stairs, I know it depends on airline, but still why do we have them than???
DeleteThere were around 110 pax arriving and 80 leaving…
