Great news, but there is so much more potential for Wizzair, only if the airport wasnt so expensive. Also, as a frequent traveler, they need an expanison asap

Therefore, because the airport is so expensive, they pay the state 120 million € per year after profit distributions that the airport earns during the year.

@14:05 can you provide the evidence where they pay a dividend of €120m per annum to the government please? If that’s the case, it would be the most profitable public company/ concession here and don’t remember I ever read anything about that.

Meanwhile there are also people from Kosovo using Tirana, Skopje and some maybe even Nis, so its the same everywhere.

@anon 0835 offering the same route does not mean there is no lose of passenger to other airports. There are many routes that when adding checked bags to Wizz, the tickets are higher than the ones that GP offers. I know, it is strange, but they are actually cheaper. For family of 4, saving 400 Euro, can be motivation enough to opt for PRN.

Greedy government indeed. PRN should be doubling in size not let it decline to single digit growth.

It's easy to conclude not that the 5 mln PAX will not happen in 2025 in any scenario. 4.6 or 4.7 at best!

    1. Anonymous14:44

For sure not. It would be great success if it reaches 4,7 this year.

ZAG won't reach 5 million this year either. It's currently 250 - 260k passengers ahead of PRN. I don't think PRN will reach more than 4.5 - 4.6 million pax this year, whereas ZAG will be at around 4.8 million... 4.85 mill. max.
Next year tho, PRN will reach 5 million pax and ZAG should surpass 5 mill. buy several hundred thousand pax.
This means expansion works at the Zagreb airport next year.
