TRIP REPORT
Recently flew Air Montenegro for the very first time from Rome to Podgorica. The flight lasted around an hour and ten minutes. I booked a ticket in business for about 200 euros (one way).
Air Montenegro uses Terminal 3 at Rome Fiumicino. It does not offer business class passengers Fast Track security or lounge access. The gate was the last one in Terminal 3 and quite a hike to get there, but I was happy that we were not on a bus and boarded directly from the terminal.
The flight boarded on time with those with disabilities called and then business class. I was seated in the first row. The E195 has the standard 2-2 configuration with the first two rows designated as business class on our flight. A movable curtain allows the airline to extend or shrink the cabin size. There was another person in business. Legroom was adequate. The seats recline.
We departed ahead of schedule which was excellent. Shortly after takeoff, we were provided with a choice of beverage, a sanitising wipe and a package of snack mix shortly. From what I could tell, the beverage choices were Coke, beer, wine, water or orange juice. I had some orange juice.
This was our only interaction with the flight attendant. The flight attendant did a safety demo, brought us our snack and then stayed in the galley with her colleague until we landed. Service was fine for such a short flight, but it was not friendly or in any way more than the bare minimum that she needed to do.
There are two lavatories on the aircraft. I was the only passenger that used the one in the front during the flight. It was a standard size lavatory. They did provide air freshener, which you don’t see often.
Perhaps the best part of the flight was the incredible views on the way into Montenegro, which were simply stunning.
Overall, we departed early and arrived on time. The flight was short and just what I needed to not have to connect on the way between Italy and Montenegro. While there were not many amenities, I would fly the airline again.

Air Montenegro and Croatia Airlines in race for Europe's worst business class.
ReplyDeleteI agree. 200 euros for a juice and mix nuts. No priority lane or lounge. If you pick third row on the plane in economy you will be off the aircraft at the same time as the person in business. This is not good value for money.
DeleteHahahahaha, exactly
DeleteOne hour and 10 minutes Rome to Podgorica? DC-3 can make it in 01.10. Rome to Split is 40 minutes, to Dubrovnik 45, shouldn't be more than 50 min to Podgorica. Unless you were avoiding some bad weather
ReplyDeleteYou paid business class for a bag of snacks ? Sorry my friend I traveled recently from ATH to LCA in business class with Aegean 1 hour and 13 minutes exactly and they offered a proper hot meal which was 2 beef patty with rice , salad and a small chocolate cake in proper plates . This Air Montenegro service is just a joke .
ReplyDeleteWell the person says they have never flown Air Montenegro so they obviously didn't know what the product is like. Neither did I. Thanks to this report, now I know.
DeleteI really dont understand why does people paying business class for a flight that is just about an hour long🤔either they have bunch of money so dont know where to spend it🫣
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why it concerns some people where others spend their own money.
Delete^ Primarily because they do not have enough disposable income for such things. So they hate those who do. 🤷♂️
DeleteIts not a hate , giwe me reason why should I pay business class for one hour flight?
DeleteTo shit away from people with your attitude.
DeleteEUR200 is not expensive for business class, but what this excuse for an airline handed out was rubbish. Added you get no lounge or fast track this is a disgrace. OU give you lounge and fast track and that box they hand out at least has a bit more to nibble on, not that I am saying this is the sort of thing that should be offered in J class.
