NEWS FLASH
Singapore Airlines will expand its codeshare partnership with fellow Star Alliance members on services to Ljubljana from the start of the 2026 summer season on March 29. The carrier will place its code on daily Lufthansa flights from Munich to Ljubljana, as well as on three weekly services from Ljubljana to Munich (SQ2276/2277) operating on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. In addition, Singapore Airlines will codeshare on Swiss International Air Lines’ daily rotation between Zurich and the Slovenian capital (SQ2274/SQ2279), covering both the midday outbound and morning inbound departures. The Singaporean airline already maintains a codeshare agreement on Lufthansa’s Frankfurt - Ljubljana route.

Why can't I book a flight on SQ website from LJU?
ReplyDeleteInteresting detail, that they apply codeshare to LH flights, not EN. It seems EN is gone from LJU from the start of summer season.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how and why? The Lufthansa Service from Munich and Frankfurt to Ljubljana are a big joke! The flights are always overbooked, with their CRJ's. Who makes the planning for Lufthansa? Instead of providing bigger planes for these routes, they cut it in winter. Obviously nobody in Lufthansa knows, that Slovenia is not only a summer destination, but also a very busy winter sports destination.
ReplyDeleteCalm down. LH is phasing out all its CRJ-900 fleet until the end of this year. So they will be naturally increasing LJU capacity.
