NEWS FLASH
Low cost carrier Wizz Air has announced the launch of two new routes from the region, one each from Podgorica and Dubrovnik.
The airline will introduce its seventeenth new service from Podgorica for the coming summer by launching operations between Bratislava and the Montenegrin capital. Flights will commence on May 21 and operate three times per week. Further flight details can be found here.
On May 23, Wizz Air will inaugurate seasonal flights between Cluj-Napoca and Dubrovnik. Services will be maintained twice per week until the end of the summer season, with additional details available here. Cluj-Napoca, which is Romania’s second largest city, will become the third new destination to be introduced by Wizz Air from Dubrovnik.

So they're discontinuing Bratislava - Niš and launching Bratislava - Podgorica instead
ReplyDeleteNot really since BTS-TGD is being launched 4 months later.
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteBravo Wizz Air!
ReplyDeleteBravo Podgorica!
ReplyDeleteEverything but Ljubljana...At least give us Tirana
ReplyDeleteLjubljana - Tirana beautiful connection. And the same ends of names of the cities. Funny. :)
DeleteYou can make use of LJU-TGD or TRS-TIA. Wizz has taken care of it ☺️
DeleteLJU-TGD is not a good option but TRS-TIA is a good example because it is very easy to get by public transport or car from Ljubljana to Trieste. Podgorica to Tirana is a whole different kind of journey.
DeleteOr LJU - Bucharest ...
DeleteTRS-TIA is now covered by FR, too, if I’m not mistaken.
DeleteYes absofrutely, there will be up to 7 weekly flights between them and Wizz. Fares will probably be dirt cheap.
DeleteW6 is always shifting routes like all LCC.
ReplyDeleteINI is loosing the route from BTS but TGD and DBV get a new route each.
If FR remains alone on the Vienna area to Niš we might see a substantial fare increase in the coming weeks.
JU should launch INI-VIE asap
DeleteTrue dat
DeleteWizz cancelling INI BTS in just two months reveals magic behind their network development: coin toss. They are now tossing coin for Podgorica routes, and will cancel some of them quickly after launch.
DeleteI can understand BTS-TGD since there is healthy demand from Slovak tourists at least in the summer. INI-BTS on the other hand with FR flying to VIE is pure madness.
DeleteCould LJU - DBV work two times per week in the summer?
ReplyDelete100%
DeleteMost certainly, but it would have to be a W pattern which I suppose is not always the easiest to schedule.
DeleteNo new routes from SKP for some time now :/
ReplyDeleteThey just literally launched a ton of destinations from SKP
