It added, “The Croatian Civil Aviation Agency remains in continuous contact with several airlines regarding the organisation of potential evacuation flights. If my memory does not fail me, they were chartered from Slovenian football federation to get their team to an away match.

How the hell are they supposed to get from Lyon to Zagreb? Why couldn't they fly them to Athens or Rome?

Why they couldn’t fly them to Zagreb? Is there a war in Zagreb or something? Maybe they are ride sharing with France?

I'm just tracking that flight TDR9306 and the FR24 says the destination is Lyon but the plane is diverting to Zagreb, but we'll see what happens, do they go to Zagreb or Lyon

The plane destined for Lyon has ended up in Zagreb. It never even was on course for Lyon. I don't know why that was the published destination. It was always supposed to end up in Zagreb.

It was probably for security reasons they listed Lyon as the destination.

I read today that the Croatian pilgrims will be brought by bus to Egypt. From Cairo they probably will fly to Lyon (not sure why not Zagreb directly). However, last week there was an OU flight from Zagreb to Cairo. I don't know why, but OU definitely could add regular flights to Cairo.

OU could do a lot of things but it seems like the realisation of things is not their strong point

The pilgrims were bussed to Egypt and brought to Zagreb by plane today. Trade Air picked them up.
