NEWS FLASH
Low cost carrier Vueling plans to deploy larger aircraft on its Barcelona - Ljubljana service, which was launched last November. The airline intends to utilise its 236-seat Airbus A321 aircraft on all flights during the 2026/27 winter season, beginning October 25, replacing the 180-seat A320 and 186-seat A320 aircraft with sharklets that will operate throughout the upcoming summer. The carrier will continue to maintain two weekly services between the two cities. Further changes remain possible at this early stage.

Thats nice but it would be better if they added another weekly rotation instead.
ReplyDeleteprobably next step will be adding more flights ...
DeleteI took 4 flights with them so far. All the flights were 90%+ in February which is great. Do we have any actual LF numbers yet?
ReplyDeleteIn december on both destination in Spain (Las Palmas , Barcelona ) es LF 92%.
DeleteWhere did you get that data? In December, there was 4672 passengers between Slovenia and Spain (source: SURS), the capacity was 5568, which means the LF was around 82 %
DeleteSorry, 84 %
DeleteTrue, sorry my bad.
DeleteHow, if there is no demand from LJU ?
ReplyDeleteIt's because all passengers come from Croatia. Similar while Emirates was serving Zagreb only because all passengers were from Slovenia 😂
DeleteBecause charter hub generates these extra passengers
DeleteThe best thing is, most of passengers are Spanish so the route won’t run out of people visiting spain/slovenia
