Royal Jordanian Airlines has postponed the launch of its new service between Amman and Belgrade until March 2027. The route, which was initially scheduled to launch in April, had already been pushed back until late September due to the conflict involving Iran. Jordan was also affected by drone activity last week. Demand for the service, which was expected to rely heavily on tour groups travelling to Aqaba, weakened significantly following the escalation of tensions in the Middle East. Royal Jordanian Airlines has signed cooperation agreements with several tour operators in Serbia to support the route. The twice-weekly service is now scheduled to commence on March 3, 2027. Further flight details can be found here. Tickets are available for purchase through the airline’s website.

Expected considering the situation. Still good they didn't give up and will come next year.
ReplyDelete@Admin, first flight is on 3rd March, not 31st
ReplyDeletewas expected.
ReplyDeleteYes, unfortunatelly war in middle east is still affecting aviation situation, and it will during whole this year for sure..
ReplyDeleteMUC was still launched by RJ a month ago.
ReplyDeleteBecause the route to MUC does not rely on tourists. They have cancelled a lot of planned new routes..
DeleteThe above is correct but even if MUC was 100% tourists, Germany is a market of 83 million people. Some people really need to pause and think before writing comments.
DeleteHahahh comparing Belgrade to Munich is same as comparing Croatia to Spain
DeleteDefinatly not the cheapest of flights. This is a perfect ryanair route tbh.
ReplyDeleteOr Wizz Air if they get the AOC.
DeleteWell we hope they wont need one and remain as they are.
