Zagreb Airport handled 438.575 passengers in June, representing an increase 213 travellers on the same month last year. Aircraft movements declined 2.9% to 4.478. During the first half of the year, Zagreb Airport welcomed 2.219.552 travellers through its doors, up 3.1%, or an additional 66.981 passengers.

DeleteNot really. Its still very popular. There are alot of people in the UK and Germany who are more than able to pay the prices.

DeleteAnd increase in Dubrovnik and Zadar?...For sure tourist numbers shouldn't grow forever in Croatia. If they would then whole coast would be even more destroyed. Anyway, no worries for Croatian tourism. It won't disappear...never...
DeleteGuys regarding tourism in Croatia, our main markets have such a holiday schedule that May saw huge increase and June decrease in arrivals. That's normal, overall y-on-y H1 was slight plus.
DeleteIt is surprising to see that they had fewer passengers in June than in May.

ReplyDeleteHaving two airlines based at the airport, one of them major LCC, the other one flag carrier with significant increases in capacity, does not guarantee significant airport passenger growth.
