To be fair, their website clearly states what the benefits of the business class are and it's mostly just luggage and snacks, no mention of more leg room etc.
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't the point at all.
DeleteExactly, Josh Cahill is just a drama queen to be honest. I used to like him but now his reports are all about finding faults with airlines. It became somewhat toxic.
DeleteI flew on 4O business class on BEG-TGD. For the price they charge you can't expect much. You get a lounge, priority boarding and a snack plus a drink. It's very basic but you don't need more on the 35 minute flight.
They didn't offer a lounge almost anywhere. Maybe in BEG but not elsewhere.
DeleteThey offer in TGD and CDG.
DeleteWell obviously no more. If you read the text, they no longer have business class. And if you watched the review, it isn't about business class service, it's about them selling business class and then downgrading passengers.
Delete@11:01 How about you watch the video again, or since you're that ignorant I'll sum it up for you:
Delete- Downgraded from business to economy without any prior notification, official reason is "aircraft change", which is a lie since 4O is a single type operator
- No clear instructions on how to request a refund, many people reached out and told that they weren't reimbursed at all, potential scam detected
- Airline issues a statement, acknowledges the mistake, apologizes, and announces that it will improve the process
To be fair they DO have two different aircraft when it comes to seating layout with either 118 or 116 seats
Delete^ how exactly does that impact offering business class when planes have economy seats only and no catering other than prepackaged snacks (so you can't use some excuse of them not having ovens). You are now just making up random excuses.
DeleteI totally disagree, Josh Cahill makes fantastic videos and airline reviews, the video about Air Montenegro was exactly their mirror, unfriendly, unmotivated cabin crew! This is not toxic to report their not existing motivation and the airlines scam about the non existing business class!
DeleteOh wow so much drama because he has to sit in economy for 90'
DeleteNot because of that but because the company didn't deliver what they sold to the consumer. So many people here accept to be downgraded, in plane and in life. It's a shame but it's not a surprise to me.
DeleteBusiness class scam scheme is over. No sale of something not existing..
DeleteIt’s not just Josh’s business class experience, which was horrid, but the attitude of the hostesses and their Balkan mentality. I watched the video and it was cringe seeing the air hostesses and how they went about, especially having a fat loud chat at the back of the plane while sitting in the passenger seat. So stop justifying small-town mentality if you want to fly on the so-called “next EU member” airline.
DeleteLong live Josh Cahill. 1000 times better than sam chui.
ReplyDeleteyes, if you want a person complaining about every little BS and making it personal with each airline when things don't go his way, sure! to each its own
DeleteThat’s a strange take. Air Montenegro was almost certainly trying to scam him. Did you watch the video? He’s usually pretty laid-back. He flew with them twice—first in economy, then in business—and said almost nothing negative about the economy experience itself. His complaints were about the crew’s laziness, being handed an economy ticket for his business-class flight without any explanation, and an airport employee smoking right next to a no-smoking sign. Hardly drama-queen behavior.
DeleteI am talking about his videos in general, not the one referred to this specific airline. He just tries to make a sensation and a big deal out of everything
DeleteI agree that what 4O did to him isn’t okay. But I also agree that he does make it too personal with almost every single review lately. It’s like they’re all out to get him.
DeleteAbsolutely.

ReplyDeleteAnother masterclass in how not to manage an airline. Slow descent into oblivion for Air Montenegro, or as incident investigators would say, CFIT.
ReplyDeletewhy did the prime minister of Montenegro get involved with Josh Cahill? Lol, this is my personal take but it doesn't look on Montenegro.
ReplyDeleteAll ex-YU prime minsters and presidents love to get involved in air local traffic matters. And it’s a good thing.
DeleteIf you pay for business class there is an expectation that you get an upgraded product (i.e. more luggage, lounge access, better seats/food on flight) regardless if it is only a 35 minute flight. The thing is, 90% of the passengers on the TGD-BEG flight are locals and the government is used to screwing them over all the time. They didn't expect some foreigner would get around to flying and giving a review. Had they known he was flying they would have given him a complementary room and private driver to the airplane.
