Croatia Airlines will double its number of charters between Mostar and the City of Derry, in Northern Ireland, during 2027. The flights, catering for pilgrims visiting the Medjugorje site, will operate a total of eight times next year over the summer and autumn, up from four in 2026. Derry Airport said the decision was made "to meet demand from the local market, following a hugely successful 2026 programme". It added, "The programme reflects our commitment to connecting our local community with meaningful travel experiences close to the heart of many here in the Northwest".
