NEWS FLASH
Croatia Airlines has disclosed that it invested in increasing the maximum authorised weight of two Airbus A220 aircraft during the first half of the year. The carrier did not identify the aircraft or specify which variant was involved. A higher certified weight enables the aircraft to carry more fuel or payload, providing additional range and reducing potential restrictions when operating with a full passenger and baggage load or in adverse weather conditions. It does not increase seating capacity but provides greater operational flexibility, particularly on longer routes. The work was included within a broader 1.1-million-euro investment item covering modifications to leased aircraft, which also encompassed work on an Airbus A320 engine. Croatia Airlines did not disclose the individual cost of the A220 upgrades or the aircraft’s revised weight limits.

The management need to be sacked asap. They have no clue what they're doing.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? Even when they do awesome things, someone get mad. Jasmin said 2028 will be better. But rather 2029 and 2030's. Be patient.
DeleteWell OU was always one step ahead of the rest of the ex-YU gang.
Delete^ especially in terms of losses.
DeleteAnd servility to Mutti
DeleteWhy didn't they do it from the getgo?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they need that extra payload capability with 60% LF...
ReplyDeleteA longer range could be achieved only and solely in this way:
ReplyDelete- 5x A220
- 3x ATR72
- 2x A320
- 1x A330
Because you can't go anywhere else except medium-haul routes non-stop with the A220
I dont think you understand what this is about.
DeleteIf they say they would like a longer range. The range could be achieved with more different planes and making good use of the aforementioned planes.
DeleteIt doesnt mean that man. Read it properly.
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! LOL!!!LOL!!!!
DeleteFor another million wasted?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Could this in any way be related to the SKP fiasco from last summer?
ReplyDeleteYes that's most likely
DeleteTbh I was once on a A220-300 SPU-ZAG leg that had payload restrictions. Last 7-8 rows were blocked out when checking in, and once on board, no one was allowed to sit there. Maybe it has something to do with that too…
ReplyDeleteWhen i posted a comment a week ago that they are considering launching JFK via DUB, my post was removed by the admin. Now, I hope you get the idea why they did the upgrade :)
