Ukrainian low cost carrier SkyUp will commence seasonal flights from the Moldovan capital of Chisinau to Split and Pula during the 2027 summer season. Flights to Split will commence on June 5 and operate twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays until September 18 with further details available here. Operations to Pula will start on June 13 and also run twice per week, on Thursdays and Sundays, until September 12, with additional information available here.

Delete^ Actually they are not, RMO is used by Ukrainians from southern and eastern Ukraine.
DeleteI think you meant western, eastern Ukrainians are most likely using SVO or living somewhere in EU.
Delete13:57 Odessa exists, not everything is Donetsk, Luhanks or Crimea. And the sole reason for RMO boom are the Ukrainians travelling home.
DeleteIn the past Ukrainian Airlines had a good presence in Croatia especially in Split and Pula, so considering RMO is now heavily used by Ukrainians as the rest of the country is cut off, it makes a lot of sense to launch theses flights.

DeleteYou're mistaken on that. That's not how it works now. There is currently no regular international land border crossing between Ukraine and Russia for Ukrainians to simply use. Russia has restricted entry for Ukrainian citizens, they can enter Russia only from third country, and for those arriving from third countries SVO is effectively the only functioning entry point. So saying that eastern Ukrainians are “most likely using SVO” doesn't make much sense. They would first have to get to Russia through a legal border entry point. Chisinau, on the other hand, is a perfectly logical international gateway for Ukrainians from southern and eastern Ukraine, given that Ukrainian airspace remains closed. Ukrainians from central Ukraine also use RMO because there are direct bus and rail connections to RMO. And residents of western Ukrainian regions use RMO less frequently, as they are geographically closer to and find it easier to fly from some airports in Poland, Romania or Hungary

ReplyDeletePrije rata u Ukrajini letjelo se puno iz Ukrajine za Pulu.Pula je imala vise letova iz Rusije i Ukrajine nego sve zracne luke u Hrvatskoj zajedno.Osobno sam letio Pula-Kijev i nazad i avion je uvijek bio krcat,
