Slovenia has yet to announce the outcome of its latest airline subsidy round, which attracted four applications for new routes. Two bids have reached the final approval stage, while the other two were deemed incomplete and required additional documentation before their assessment could continue. All four bids concern new services rather than extensions of existing subsidies.
The Slovenian Ministry for Infrastructure and Energy told EX-YU Aviation News that the process has still not formally concluded, with the two selection decisions currently undergoing legal approval through the Krpan document management system. “Until the selection decisions have been formally served on the two airlines, we cannot disclose the results of the tender to the public. We will be able to provide more information once this process has been completed”, the Ministry said. The identities of the applicants and their proposed routes remain undisclosed.

Okay, so four new routes. Can TUI apply for a route to BRU? If yes and we presume all new rotes so far (BER, BRU and DUS) are part of the tender, that leaves us with one more.
ReplyDeleteMaybe ARN as someone has rumoured?
coud United apply?
DeleteNo
DeleteBRU is already served with Brussels airlines so they can't get any money for that. So we should definetly expect 2 new routes (if they will confirm 4)
DeleteBravo Fraport!
ReplyDeleteSo does that mean that only 2 were actually confirmed?
ReplyDeleteLJU-ZAG and LJU-TRS
