Flydubai will resume flights between Dubai and Skopje from April 1, 2027, over seven years after it suspended operations as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Services will be maintained three times per week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from Emirates Airlines’ Terminal 3 at Dubai Airport, enabling a smoother transfer experience.
Commenting on the service resumption, Flydubai CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said: “Connectivity is a key part of Dubai’s success as a global aviation hub. By linking markets that have limited direct air services with Dubai, At flydubai, we have always believed that connectivity unlocks opportunities for tourism, trade and cultural exchange. Over the years, we have connected many cities that previously had limited direct links to Dubai and the wider world. The return of Skopje reflects that continued commitment”. Jeyhun Efendi, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and E-commerce at Flydubai, added, “Europe continues to be an important part of our network strategy. The resumption of flights to Skopje gives our customers greater choice and flexibility, while providing an attractive one-stop travel option for leisure travellers, business travellers and the Macedonian diaspora from Australia and Asia. Our operations will commence with a three-weekly service and we are confident that demand will grow as more customers take advantage of the attractive Dubai stopover offering while connecting beyond the city.”
Flydubai’s return to Skopje, which has been in the works for several years, mark’s the resumption of nonstop services between Macedonia and the Gulf. Further flight details can be found here.

Finally
ReplyDeleteGood job Skopje... I hope it's not canceled with recent developments
ReplyDeleteBRAVO SKOPJE I DUBAI!!!!!! KONEČNO MOŽEME DA LETAME ZA DUBAI BEZ PAUZI VO ISTANBUL
DeleteLowercase would have worked for that.
DeleteBravo Skopje! Wishing all the best from Slovenija
ReplyDeletePointless. Everyone with sanity will avoid ME3. They’re flying half empty from BEG
DeleteWell if they thought it would be pointless they probably wouldn't launch it would they?
DeleteI think they’re desperate
Deletelol sure. somebody is not very happy with the annoncenent
DeleteAnon@12:16 trust me bro or you have some numbers?
Delete@12:16 you clearly don't know what you are on about. Emirates is at 96% of its pre-conflict global flight network (serving 140–144 destinations compared to roughly 150 before the war). However, total passenger traffic has recovered slightly slower, sitting at 93% of pre-war capacity. So feel free to avoid transiting the mid east if you wish, but there is no need to chat rubbish about which you don't have facts to back it up.
DeleteAwesome. Also good for the Australian diaspora, so this route will challenge the Turkish Airlines route. Have visas now also been abolished for Macedonian nationals for the UAE?
ReplyDeleteDa
DeleteYes they are abolished couple months ago and Saudia arabia also now giwes eVisa and visa on arrival for Macedonian passport holders
DeleteHallelujah
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Skopje!
ReplyDelete(and Fala bogu we dont have to read about that nonsence-conspiracy again that TAV wants only TK to connect pax from SKP to the east of it...)
Thanks god we got Dubai back as we need it alot. Btw This return has nothing to do with TAV , this is thanks to the ministry of transport and our embassy in the Emirates they did their best to make sure Flydubai to launch the route again
