Adria to take delivery of A319

Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Adria Airways will take delivery of a leased Airbus A319 on May 20. The jet will become the third aircraft of its type in the carrier’s fleet and has been leased from AerCap Holdings. The sixteen-year-old jet has operated on Air France’s behalf since it was manufactured, exiting service last month. It will carry the registration S5-AAX in Slovenia. As a result, Adria will operate a total of twelve aircraft this summer - one CRJ200 and CRJ700 each, six CRJ900s, three A319s and one A320. All of the jets with exception to the CRJ200, are on lease.
