Montenegro Airlines plans Maribor charters

Thursday, December 10, 2015

Montenegro Airlines plans to introduce seasonal charter flights from Podgorica to Maribor next year, the carrier’s Assistant Commercial Director, Dragan Popović, says, adding that talks with Maribor Airport are in their final stages. The Montenegrin carrier intends to operate a one weekly service between the two cities from mid-June to mid-September 2016. The move is in line with the airline’s new strategy to expand operations within the former Yugoslav region. The carrier recently announced it was launching flights between Vienna and Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina on December 21. Slovenia was one of Montenegro Airlines’ fastest growing markets this year. During the January - October period, its scheduled Podgorica - Ljubljana service saw passenger numbers grow over 30% compared to the same period last year. Recently, the carrier’s CEO, Daliborka Pejović, said the airline is considering adding additional frequencies to the Slovenian capital next year.

It was written in Večer daily that they are considering MBX-DUS route. Twice a week Thursday and Sunday. This route should be in "final stages" of their agreement. And they are also considering MBX-BCN route.
      We'll see...
      Hopefully these glights will happen.
