Greece's Aegean Airlines will launch seasonal summer flights between Athens and Podgorica. Services will commence on June 21 and run twice per week, each Wednesday and Sunday, until September 10 with a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 turboprop. Podgorica becomes Aegean's latest destinations in the former Yugoslavia following its route to Belgrade and seasonal services to Dubrovnik and Split. Despite launching summer flights to Ljubljana in 2016, the service will not resume this year. Podgorica Airport will see a number of new destinations this summer including Budapest (Wizz Air), Warsaw (LOT Polish Airlines) and Stockholm Skavsta (Ryanair).
