NEWS FLASH

SAS Scandinavian Airlines is extending its seasonal summer service between Copenhagen and Pristina to part of the upcoming winter season. The carrier will maintain a weekly flight between the two cities, on Saturdays, throughout November and December and part of January, concluding on January 10, 2026 before being restored in April. The carrier will primarily deploy its 122-seat Embraer E195 aircraft on the route during the winter, although two rotations in December and January are planned with the 180-seat Airbus A320neo jet. As previously reported, SAS is also upgrading its seasonal Sarajevo flights to year-round operations.

Glad that they are extending. Out season the connectivity to this part of Scandinavia is very limited. Only GP flies to Malmo I believe.

The first and to date only SkyTeam member to serve PRN.

Star Alliance is present for 25 years through Adria Airways and Austrian to begin with.

OneWorld used to serve PRN through Malev and later on British Airways. Currently no OW member serves PRN, but British Airways or Finnair may launch routes in the future.
