Sarajevo Airport handled 2.226.692 passengers in 2025, representing its busiest year on record. The figure represents an increase of 22.2% in 2024 or an additional 404.930 travellers. The number of aircraft movements stood at 19.671, up 16.8%. During 2025, Ryanair was the largest carrier by available seats, while the Boeing 737-800 was the most common aircraft type at Sarajevo Airport. During the year, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital was most connected with Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport, followed by Istanbul Airport, Vienna and Zagreb.

ReplyDeletePossible Ljubljana to overtake Sarajevo in the next 2-3 years.... Sarajevo summer shows up that can reach solid numbers, but in winter numbers drops down alot and hace exact same numbers as Ljubljana in the winter period
