NEWS FLASH
Flights between China and Serbia have mostly sold out for the coming week as passengers attempt to find alternatives to both reach and depart Europe amid the widespread airspace closures across the Middle East which continue to impact global connectivity.
Based on current inventory in the Global Distribution System, Air Serbia has sold out its upcoming flights from Guangzhou to Belgrade (JU898) this coming Friday and next Monday. It has also sold out its upcoming flights from Shanghai to the Serbian capital (JU987) on Sunday, while next Wednesday’s service currently only has business class availability. In the other direction, Air Serbia’s upcoming flight from Belgrade to Guangzhou this Friday (JU988) is sold out, while its service from Belgrade to Shanghai (JU986) has a limited number of business class seats this upcoming Saturday.
China Southern Airlines has sold out its upcoming flight from Guangzhou to Belgrade (CZ667) this Sunday, while next Wednesday sees only business class availability.
Hainan Airlines has also been left only with business class seats for its upcoming flights from Beijing to Belgrade (HU7969) this upcoming Saturday and next Tuesday.
Please note that availability is prone to change quickly, especially in situations where passengers are being rebooked from other airlines. The information above reflects the situation at the time of publication.

They should introduce additional flights. I know it's not that easy, but if they managed to organize quickly, it would be a cash cow.
ReplyDeleteThere is no possibility of introducing new flights due to the limitations covered by the agreement between Serbia and China.
DeleteNonsense, flights can be added only if both sides agree!
DeleteAnd every single day we read extremely smart suggestions of adding more JU flights to China although it is not possible.
DeleteIt is possible if JU agrees to give more flights to their competition. Only limitation is what airlines can fly
DeleteLimits are agreed between countries, not companies. It's shouldn't be too hard to understand. Only thing JU could do is to commence flights to Bejing, since licence is approved.
DeletePlease do not write things you don't know.
DeleteThe ASA between Serbia and China states that only Air Serbia, Air China, China Southern and Hainan can operate flights.
Frequencies are reciprocal and are balanced between Serbia and China. Any increases have to be agreed by Serbia and China. Both countries will naturally consult their airlines about this request.

DeleteIs it possible to fly additional flights as ad-hock charters? I mean one or two flights until situation normalize.
DeleteAnon 13.19 please stop writing unless you have something to write which is on this topic.
DeleteIf this situation persists for next 2-3 months, JU should start Australia flights with stop in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Delhi. Prices will go sky high and demand will be huge
ReplyDeleteOh give it a rest mate..Enough of that fantasyland talk.
DeleteGotovo da su i ostali letovi ErSrbije do kraja Marta rasprodati jer su karte papreno skupe. Tek od Aprila se cene stabilizuju.
ReplyDeleteWet lease 777 for additional capacity for a week. Surely this could work?
