The Croatian government has announced that Croatia Airlines will operate four flights to Dubai in order to evacuate Croatian nationals from the conflict-affected region. The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia said the flights will take place today and over the coming days. A total of 460 Croatian tourists currently in the region, as well as around 300 Croatian nationals residing there, have expressed a desire to be evacuated. At present, only limited flight operations are being conducted through a narrow air corridor connecting the region with the United Arab Emirates. These are primarily intended to repatriate those currently stranded at airports in the UAE.
