NEWS FLASH
Mostar Airport has unveiled plans to expand its terminal building in response to the steady rise in passenger numbers. The project includes a larger and more functional terminal space that will improve passenger flow and reduce congestion during peak travel periods, as well as the introduction of new retail outlets, souvenir shops and additional food and beverage facilities. Upgrading the airport’s infrastructure is seen as a key prerequisite for attracting new airlines and launching additional routes. Mostar Airport said work on the project is expected to begin this year and has released visualisations showing the planned appearance of the upgraded terminal once the expansion is completed.

For who
ReplyDeleteI said the same thing
Deletefor naive people that believe in Medjugorje scam
DeleteOnly the "analyst" believes that Međugorje dominates the tourism in Mostar, substantially more people go for the city itself. We saw how the elderly religious tours failed last year.
DeleteI think that the Međugorje stuff (bizarre as it is) did solidly drive aviation for a while in the 2000s, but nowadays the airport is used more more as a gateway to trips around BiH and as very useful jumping off point for the wider region. With improved road access which is ongoing, Mostar is actually a really nicely located city.
Delete@17.48 lol sure a gateway, svasta. all the skyalps flights are for pilgrim tours.
Delete20:06 Many of them were used by people from B&H visiting Italy but the sheer amount of routes would be hard to sustain even in bigger airports
Delete> reduce congestion during peak travel periods
ReplyDeleteAlso known as "single plane has landed".
^ On those days when aircraft actually land there
DeleteVery nice, but I hope that routes towards hubs like FRA, MUC or WAW are high on the priority list as well.
ReplyDeletehigh on the dreamers list
DeleteMoney for projects must circle around
ReplyDeleteI would definitely fly from Beograd there for the weekend just to enjoy the city and area.
ReplyDeleteIm sure there is lots to see and do.
And I don't care about Medjugorje.
