NEWS FLASH
Croatia Airlines is extending frequency reductions on its Zagreb services to both Skopje and Sarajevo. During June, the airline will operate an average of seven weekly flights to Skopje, down from nine weekly in the same month last year, while Sarajevo will see an average of nine to ten weekly services, compared to eleven last year. The carrier has been reducing frequencies on both routes since the winter season and has made preliminary cuts for the upcoming winter as well. Further adjustments remain possible.

Effect of the accident in Split
ReplyDeleteThese changes were made last week prior to the incident.
DeleteThe Split incident has had no effect because Croatia Airlines has a capacity surplus.
DeleteThe effect of no workable business model

DeleteI suggested to Jasmin and he did!
DeleteEffect of Jasmin efforts to cut losses and stabilize company. So far, he is very good.
DeleteI hope that my flights won't be cut. It is a pity what is happening now with OU and their connections to SJJ...
Delete7x weekly is what needs Skopje I dont know why they force more than the real demand and needs of the airport. Plus I see they still sending A220 and cutting every month, doesnt make any sense for me
ReplyDeleteGluposti. "the needs of the airport"..... Why is JU is flying twice daily?
Deletebecause they can offer connections
Ne se gluposti, yes they have Connections and they fly with ATR72 68 to 78 pax seat configuration. A220 is from 100 to 160 seats , when a 1 hour short regional flight will fill up every day an A220? Think about the logic and then compare this. OU for Skopje needs a smaller plane, only in certain time of the year can send A220
DeleteOr if they want to just serve point to point traffic they could reduce it to twice a week which seems about right for an a220. But yeah this is an atr route only
DeleteCroatia is mostly full from SKP during summer periods, even now this month the LF is not below 80% while JU sometimes has only 20pax to BEG. So even if OU operates once a day they carry at least twice as many pax than JU.
Delete^ last time was the first time in many years that Air Serbia had more passengers than Croatia Airlines in Skopje despite Croatia having a lot more capacity. It is quite normal for an airline relying on transfers that it has lower passengers onboard in one direction on one of its flights.
Delete*last year
Delete@15.55 source trust me bro
DeleteActually Air Serbia surpassed OU already in 2024
