Adria Airways has taken delivery of its newly leased Airbus A319 aircraft, which landed in Ljubljana over the weekend. The jet, registered S5-AAX, will now be painted in Adria’s corporate colours before joining the fleet. The aircraft is sixteen years old. Upon entry into service, the Slovenian carrier will operate a total of twelve jets - one CRJ200 and CRJ700 each, six CRJ900s, three A319s and one A320. All of the aircraft with exception to the CRJ200 are on lease.

Excellent news. Way to go Adria ...hope, some of the leased CRJ900 will soon be paid off. Anyone has any info on that ?
ReplyDeleteAdria doesn't paint their planes. The planes are painted all white and the Adria markings are put on with stickers.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have any clue why AirFrance retired this plane?
ReplyDeleteThey did not extend contract with leasing company,i think they did not extended it because HOP gets nearly all AF regional routes.
ReplyDeleteAccording to wiki Air France has still 40 A319 in main fleet...
