The national carriers of Slovenia and Croatia will be taking part in the world's largest tourism fair in Berlin (ITB) this week. Adria Airways (stand 109, hall 17) and Croatia Airlines (stand 216, hall 1.2) have confirmed their attendance at the 50th annual travel and trade show, which will be held from March 9 to 13 in the German capital. Last year, some 175.000 people visited the ITB fair, including 114.000 business representatives and 6.000 journalists and bloggers. Over 10.000 exhibitors from 189 countries were present. Organisers have assessed the value of the deals made at the fair at 6.5 billion euros. Other airlines taking part this year include Etihad Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, British Airways, American Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Alitalia, South African Airways, Air India and Aegean Airlines, to name a few.
There is also Express Airways which is partly Slovenian airline, headquartered in Maribor.
