Adria records strong passenger growth

Adria Airways has recorded strong passenger growth during the first two months of the year. The Slovenian carrier welcomed 169.000 passengers on board its aircraft, an increase of 34% compared to the same period last year. It handled 83.000 travellers in January, up 27%, while in February numbers improved 42% to 86.000 passengers. The figures were accompanied by an increase in the number of operated flights. Adria Airways plans to handle 1.128.000 passengers this year on 18.000 flights. It carried 1.045.442 travellers on scheduled services in 2015.
