Adria returns leased A320

Thursday, September 10, 2015

Adria Airways has returned a leased Airbus A320 to Danish Air Transport, several weeks earlier than initially planned. The jet, registered OY-JRK, was operated by Adria (as S5-AAS) from April 2011 until October 2014. It was later used by Danish Air Transport. Adria then leased back the aircraft in April and was to use it until the end of the 2015 summer season in late October. The reason for its premature return is unknown. The jet is 22 years old.

The reason for the return were findings of non compliance by Slovenian CAA.

Slovenian CAA is forbid flying with this A320 because of so many tehnical problems.
