Adria sees passenger surge

Wednesday, August 19, 2015

Adria Airways has seen its passenger numbers improve during the first seven months of the year. The Slovenian carrier handled 581.632 passengers during the January - July period, an increase of 15% compared to 2014. Of those, 114.278 travelled on charter flights, representing an increase of 21%. The airline saw its sales improve the most in the United Kingdom and Italy, while it is also satisfied with its performance in Sweden, just four months since launching flights from Ljubljana to Stockholm. On the other hand, sales in Ukraine and Russia plummeted due to political turmoil and economic uncertainty. Growth in sales was primarily attributed to an improved product, such as better scheduling, connections and pricing.

Then why are they asking if anyone is willing to suspend his/hers employment (while at the same time, they are hiring people)?
