Air Serbia has announced the launch of its web check-in service. Air Serbia's passengers now have the option of checking in for their flights online at www.airserbia.com. The service is available for all Air Serbia flights from Belgrade, and for flights from six other popular points in Air Serbia's network - Abu Dhabi, London, Istanbul, Beirut, Prague and Bucharest. The airline will expand the availability of web check-in to the rest of the network at a later date. The web check-in feature allows Air Serbia passengers to check in for their flight from any web-enabled device, choose their seat and print their boarding pass. Web check-in can also be used by passengers with baggage. Luggage must be dropped at the special 'Baggage Drop-Off' counter no later than 45 minutes before the flight and passengers must arrive at the gate no later than twenty minutes before the flight. At the airport, passengers who have already checked-in, and are only carrying hand baggage can bypass the check-in counter and proceed directly to passport and security. Air Serbia’s CEO, Dane Kondić, said, “Together with the soon to be introduced wi-fi onboard, and the opening of our business lounge, the web check-in feature is one in a series of innovations that we are introducing this year, to honour our commitment to enhance all aspects of the travel experience. We are extremely proud to see the first phase of our new web check-in feature fully functional and in the second phase, as the investment in our infrastructure takes hold, we will expand the offering across our network”.
Sta? He he.
ReplyDeleteAmin!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! This enables myriad of opportunities for ASL, from expanding the online checkin to more airports, to adding self-service kiosks at BEG airport, to smartphone app for paperless boarding pass and onboard infotainment, to aux revenue options like seat selection fee... sky is the limit! I love it, great news for ASL!
ReplyDelete"Online check-in Q&As:
ReplyDelete- Can I complete the full web check-in process only through my mobile phone?
- No. You must print a copy of your boarding pass and carry it with you."
its online checkin, mobile checkin is next
DeleteAsk BEG airport ... when they get gate readers that can do this, then ASL will be able to go paperless ...
DeleteLOLs.
ReplyDeleteAs someone said- Welcome to 2005. I mean- excellent step towards fully functioning and sistem designed to rip off like the rest of the airlines.
Evo zasto treba uvesti alko test pre ostavljanja poruka. Vidi sta je covek napisao: online checkin = system designed to rip off, brate koja je ovo logika, za medalju! Vrati se nazad u 2005 i ostani tamo.
DeleteFirst of all, as a courtesy to other readers it would be polite to have abnoxious responses written in english. Do you have anything to hide?
ReplyDeleteSecondly, it would be nice it you were informed bit more about habits of the most arilines nowdays about boarding/checking in. Few more stamps in your passport would prove that...otherwise it is just yapping without any background...
Have a look what are airlines doing to passengers not being able to check-in online (FR, W6, U2) and not being able to print boarding pass, not to mention about charging for certain seat in A/C (BA, AF, LH...)
(Have you booked any tickes recently on YU? Well..I have three days ago and there is an option for paying extra for emergency exit row on A319 on their beta version. Not implemneted yet but I am certain it will happen any day now)
So...to summarise mate- you dont have a clue what are you talking about and just have need to abnoxous and rude.
In a rather slow path, JU seems to be getting better. However as an airline employee myself I have noticed two flaws when it comes to OAL employee travel.
ReplyDelete1. Staff travel passes should goto eZED tickets instead of paper tickets.
2. I contacted the call center and no one responded to check availability on passenger loads. (perhaps someone on here can assist).
I travel yearly to SKP from the USA and it can be annoying by not having some idea on seat availability for flights. Going eZED or responding to emails would show how serious they really are about being a leader in the region.
