Austrian Airlines, which plans to add seventeen former Lufthansa CityLine Embraer E195 jets to its fleet and phase out its aging Fokker 70/100s, will use the aircraft on several of its routes to the former Yugoslavia. Effective January 3, 2016, the airline will introduce the type on its flights to Belgrade, operating three times per week for most of the season. The jet will be introduced on its services from Vienna to Zagreb during the 2016 summer season, from June 16. Furthermore, the aircraft will be used on some occasions on flights from Vienna to Pristina next summer, however, it will not be utilised on a regular basis on this route. Austrian’s E195s will have the capacity to seat 120 passengers. The carrier will introduce the E195 to its fleet in January 2016.

No, the E195 is currently planned to be used on three out of 18 weekly flights. All other Austrian flights to Belgrade will be operated with other equipment. Of course this is subject to change at this early stage.
