Thursday, July 23, 2015

Banja Luka Airport has opened a new cargo storage facility, which will allow it to handle universal goods that require specific storage conditions. The volume of the storage area is 1.0000 square metres and the new facility has the ability to handle goods which require cooler temperatures, between 4 and 8°C. The new cargo storage area has been built primarily for meat products which are exported to Turkey. Since November 2014 until today, some 3.096 tons of beef have been exported on 72 cargo flights from Banja Luka to Istanbul. Over 51.000 euros were invested in the new facility.

    1. It's an Istanbul based airline called MNG Cargo. They lease out planes for charter (cargo) flights.
