Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport has received an award at anna.aero’s sixth annual Euro Annies. Based purely on analysis of passenger traffic data and schedule data, these scientific awards are all about what the airports and airlines have actually achieved. Belgrade Airport was awarded for having the highest passenger growth rate in Europe in 2014 in the category for 3 - 5 million travellers. Last year Belgrade handled a record 4.6 million passengers, adding more than a million travellers compared to the year before. It is the second time that the airport has won a Euro Annie, its first being in 2010 when it attracted the largest numbers of new airlines within a year (ten). There are a total of fourteen categories at the Euro Annies, ten for airports and four for airlines.
Congrats, BEG!! Holding thumbs it will enter the "5 million +" category from next year!

This is way to go!. Just awaiting time to arrive concessioner, to developing this airport to be TRUE AIRPORT of South East Europe. Than, only than this Serbian future hub vill blossoming as pride for south part of future EU. True exuding. what more to say. Well done Airport Nikola Tesla-Belgrade.

Rodney, your congratulations are completely misplaced. You should be congratulating Air Serbia. All the growth at BEG was their doing, not the airport. They have done nothing to attract any new airlines. Infact, there are less airlines flying to BEG today than there were 12 mths ago. So please give credit where credit is due - not to the efforts of BEG airport, which has been zero...

DeleteMoja cestitka se odnosi na ANNI EURO AWORD dodeljen aerodromu Nikola Tesla Beograd, za 2015 godinu. Svako priznanje od stranih institucija smatram uvecanje zadovoljstva ljudima koji sacinjavaju personal aerodroma. To se prenosi i na druge ljude koji nisu zaposljeni na tom aerodromu a ipak ga vole. Raduju se kada publicitet i pohvala za ono zasta se nagradjuje kompanija sa koje slecu i uzlecu. Pa eto i ja sam medju takvim osobama. Kada Er Srbija dobija pozitivne ocene, priznanja, ni malo ne kasnim. To i oni
u Er Srbiji nadam se imaju k'znanju. Aerodromi bez aviona i avio kompanija nisu aerodromi. Koliko razumem engleski, ipak ''ANNI AWORD, dodeljen Beogradskom aerodromu. Ostali deo mojeg teksta, koliko vidim nije Vam smetao. Er Srbiji mirno nebo, dobar profit i uskoro poletanje preko Atlantika. Vama svako dobro i napredak u Vasem zanimanju.
