ECA expands fleet

Friday, July 24, 2015

Croatian-based European Coastal Airlines (ECA), Europe’s only scheduled seaplane service, has taken delivery of its third aircraft, a Dash DHC-6 Twin Otter, registered 9A-TOC. The aircraft will now be mounted with floats, giving it the ability to land on water. ECA will soon take delivery of another two hydro planes. Just a year following its launch, ECA has become a success story. The airline has previously said it expects to handle some 221.000 passengers this year.

221 000? With one 19-seater from 1.1.-31.7..2015 and two more from 1.8.? It looks like a joke.

Guys check your math please 221,000 even in a full 12 months with 3 full planes ( 19 seaters) doing 4 flights a day would only total
83,220..so with a supposed load fator of over 300% can I invest!
