ECA expands international operations

Thursday, January 7, 2016

Croatian-based European Coastal Airlines (ECA), Europe’s only scheduled seaplane service, will launch its second international route this February. The airline will inaugurate flights from Split (downtown) to Pescara Airport in Italy on February 2. Services will run three times per week, each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Last November, ECA introduced its first international service, to Ancona. Previously, the airline said it was also considering flights to Montenegro. The one hour flight to Pescara is now on sale through ECA's new-look website.
