Korean Air to resume Zagreb charters

Tuesday, February 23, 2016

Korean Air will resume summer charters from Seoul to Zagreb this year starting May 20. A total of eleven flights will operate during the summer (May, June, September and October) with an Airbus A330 aircraft. Last year, South Korea and Croatia signed a bilateral air agreement which should lead to the establishment of scheduled services between the two countries. The Korean Embassy in Zagreb estimates that over 350.000 Koreans visited Croatia in 2015.

They said they are working towards it. Actually, I think someone rightly predicted they will become scheduled in 2017. Let's wait and see.

Yup. They said they will become scheduled this year. Nothing from that, as expected.

When they were coming on board B747 how many rotation did the have? Are we talking about increase or decline in the last couple of years.

  4. in 2014 when 747s were in ZAG, there were about 6 or 7 rotations... This is the same # of flights with A330s as in 2015. Stagnating - not more nor less...

Mind-boggling that there won't be any flights in July and August, at the peak of the season?!

Peak of the season is not interesting at all for Koreans. They don't come for summer holidays. Besides that, none of the hotels on the coast would accept the groups on 1 or 2 overnights during jul/aug.
