Macedonian start-up, Sis Aviation, has been founded in Skopje by Russian businessman Sergey Samsonenko. The airline, which plans to operate commercial flights, was established with 5.000 euros worth of capital, according to local media reports. Mr Samsonenko is the owner of the football and handball sports club Vardar and has invested significantly in Macedonia over the past few years. Ratko Kupuševski has been named as Sis Aviation’s CEO. He formally managed the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center in Skopje.
Any idea on what aircraft they might operate?
ReplyDeleteDoes the image of the B735 have any relation to the new airline?
ReplyDeleteI think they just used it as an illustration
DeleteMost likely a biz-jet company.
ReplyDeleteAnother failure company like Air Croatia, BWA, etc...
ReplyDeleteWizz will kill it!
ReplyDelete5,000 Euros? This airline can't exist even with an ultralight.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
I think gliders are good to start :/
DeleteSamsonenko has capital but he is the face for the people in the shadow, so probably some other investor is in this game. Anyway my guess that if they proceed with this company ,this company will become national airline in the next few months or years. BTW POPO 5000 euros is capital for founding and that doesn't mean that it's the budget of the company.
