Flights between cities in the former Yugoslavia and Paris remain unaffected following the deadly terrorist attacks in the French capital on Friday November 13.
In a statement, Air Serbia said, "Air Serbia continues to operate its usual double daily flight schedule between Belgrade and Paris. However, departure and arrival delays are to be expected at Charles de Gaulle Airport following the reinforcement of boarder controls by French authorities. In anticipation of these delays, guests are asked to arrive earlier at Charles de Gaulle Airport and be in possession of a valid identification document. The safety of passengers, crew and aircraft is Air Serbia's number one priority and the airline continues to monitor the situation in France closely".
Broth Croatia Airlines and Air France operated their flights from Zagreb to Paris on schedule today. The Croatian Prime Minister, Zoran Milanović, said Croatia Airlines is prepared to cater for any Croatian citizen wishing to leave France. "In case any of our passengers wish to leave Paris earlier, there are still some available seats on our flight from Paris tomorrow. All passengers that wish to travel on this flight are advised to contact us regardless of their departure date", the carrier said in a statement.
Adria Airways and Air France are set to operate their flights from Ljubljana to Paris on schedule tomorrow. The Slovenian carrier's service from Paris to Tirana is also running on time this evening.
Montenegro Airlines' flight from Podgorica to the French capital operated normally today. "Slight delays are possible on the way back because of increased security measures and procedures and the state of emergency imposed in France", the company said, adding that flights will most likely be late no more than ten minutes. The airline emphasised that the security of passengers, crew and the aircraft itself remains a priority. "Our safety department is carefully monitoring the situation and applying all necessary procedures in order to maintain traffic. We are continuously in contact with the head of our Paris office, Dijana Pelinković, and will continue monitoring the situation in France. If any changes occur, the public will be duly notified", Montenegro Airlines said.
Low cost airline Wizz Air announced that its flights from Beauvais Airport near Paris are operating normally as well. "Flights are operating as normal, if passengers are using public transportation to the airport, they should check their travel plans to allow for extra time", the carrier noted.
