Pristina Airport handled its millionth passenger for the year in August and continued to see its numbers grow. It welcomed almost 214.000 travellers last month, an increase of 11.4% compared to August 2014, the Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority reported. The month is traditionally the airport's busiest of the year. During the January - August period, Pristina Airport handled 1.081.408 passengers, up 11.7% on the same period last year. In 2014 Pristina Airport handled 1.404.775 passengers, making it the fifth busiest in the former Yugoslavia.

kosovars can't travel like all others europeans because of vizas but the airport is so busy anyway
